Gesaffelstein, a Sound of Darkness
Mike Lévy better known as Gesaffelstein, born 1985 in Lyon, France is a French techno artist and DJ. He produced two tracks on Yeezus, the sixth album of American rapper Kanye West, including the lead single "Black Skinhead" and "Send It Up", both tracks produced with West, Daft Punk, Brodinski and Mike Dean. He has worked alongside and remixed tracks for such artists as varied as Tiga, ASAP Rocky, Miss Kittin and Lana Del Rey.
A quick glimpse at Gesaffelstein’s professional mythology is all it
takes to understand the heart of his appeal to West: a shared interest
in art and fashion a personal aesthetic possessed of palpable intensity
and ripe with darkness and violence and an eye towards intellectual
concerns broader than music. Gesaffelstein debut album Aleph fuses those
pre-existing aspirations to ideas about style that feel directly derived
from his work with West with its cover a jewel case containing a gold
disc, the case overlaid with complex patterns reminiscent of
circuitry serving as the most obvious hat tip.

Hotel Garuda

The stars of this musical movement reveal to us how to reuse old videogames hardware like Nintendo’s GameBoy, NES, Atari ST, Amiga and the Commodore 64 to turn them into a tool capable of creating a new sound, a modern tempo and an innovative musical style. This is a new way of interpreting music performed by a great many artists who show their skills in turning these “limited” machines designed for leisure in the 80’s into surprising musical instruments and graphical tools. It will leave nobody indifferent.

Arrington de Dionyso's Malaikat dan Singa
Arrington de Dionyso (born January 4th 1975) makes trans-utopian world music for a world that exists in fever dreams and hallucinations. Using performance and visual art, he traverses the nameless territories held between surrealist automatism, shamanic seance, and the folk imagery of rock and roll. Ecstasy vs. Madness.
De Dionyso's most recent project, Malaikat dan Singa, is a trance-punk outfit featuring bass clarinet, guitars, multiple drummers and his trademark wild vocals (multi-spectral harmonic THROATSINGING combined with grunts, yelps, and barks) -this time, all sung in Indonesian. Malaikat dan Singa translates as "Angels and Lions," and de Dionyso's Indonesian lyrics combine mythology and fantasy with haphazard translations of poet William Blake on the debut Malaikat album. The project, however, ultimately defies a clean translation. Malaikat dan Singa gains power by crossing boundaries -- both linguistic and psychic. On the one hand, the Indonesian language allows Dionyso to communicate on levels more deeply subliminal than those accessible in his native English. On the other, he reaches his growing Indonesian audience with his eccentric brew of ecstatic lunacy and prophetic madness, clarified to perfection during his 15 year tour-of-duty with Olympia's OLD TIME RELIJUN. Arrington tours constantly, and also presents workshops on improvising with the voice throughout North America, Europe, Israel and Japan. His visual art has been featured in exhibitions in Italy, New York City, Washington DC and Portland, Oregon and published in Yeti Magazine, Prism Index and The Stranger.

Noisy, un-economical, polluting and mass-consuming, mankind and tractor trailers seem to share more than a few things in common. And as simply as the wheels of commerce keep turning, many of those in positions of power are always hungry to keep progressing; spreading; growing. In many ways it would also seem that in many respects, humanity and cancer share a lot in common.
“The general population of the United States doesn’t care about much outside of their car and fast food,” says Aaron Jenkins, Ed Gein’s bassist/primary lyricist and one of the trios’ three vocalists. The band has been pounding the pavement hard since their formation in 2001, touring furiously and earning themselves a cult-like following across the US and Canada.
Playing a hybrid style of thrash, metal, sludge, grind and punk, Ed Gein, who call Syracuse, NY home, use their self-described ‘angry-noise punk’ style as a means to deliver their politically and socially charged message. “It’s all a matter of being aware and thinking for yourself,” says Jenkins. “A ‘Judas-goat’ is an older animal at a slaughter-house trained to lead the other animals to slaughter. In exchange, the animal is taken care of almost like a family pet until they are no longer of use. A large portion of the world’s population falls into one of the unfortunate categories of either being a betrayer or one of the millions of mindless, resource-eating followers.”

Keluarga Berengsex - Demo
Keluarga Berengsex is formed in December 2007 to attend a gig called "Sragen Recharge", the first line up is Ipan (Alijamil/Strenght of Hand) on guitar, Po'onk (Alijamil) on vocal, Aji Ho (ex Killsomethink) on guitar, Yogie (ex Jejak Ndas/Maju Tak Gentar) on bass, Jablay (ex Aorta) on drums. Their influence are basicaly from blues, post hardcore, hardcore punk, and stoner. unfortunately they had to loose Yogie, that have to go to Philipines to work. In order to survive, K.B have to switch Aji from guitar to bass, and a help is come from Fafa (Hello Helicopter) to fill the guitar position. Now with their latest line up, they bring you the mix between the soulfull melody of blues, the adrenaline rush of hardcore punk, and the heaviest drop of stoner, with an ugly truth lyrics.

- It also was the #2 song on the UK singles charts

- Song 2 is the 2nd song on their greatest hits album. Obviously, these could all be intentional.
- The truly bizarre coincidence is that "Song 2" reached the #2 spot on 2 different charts: the UK's Singles Chart and Australia's Triple J Hottest 100 poll.
